The main League for the club
A long established league with a rich history in Ramsbottom and surrounding areas. Buchanan is now the only team in Ramsbottom active in the league, but its still well supported
A Team

Captains Quote; "We're a really competitive bunch and the big personalities in the team make sure we push each other to improve and achieve throughout the season. We love taking on the other top teams in the area and proud to represent the club by playing the game in the right spirit.
We've got a good mix of hardened experience and younger lads looking to make an impression. None of us like to lose, but match night always ends with a drink and a laugh"
B Team

Captains Quote; "Honoured to be the captain of this team. They are a bunch of competitive bowlers who will support each other both on and off the green. They love to reminisce what we could have done after every game over a couple of pints - great company"
A mid-table Division 1 team who enjoy the social aspect off-the-green as much as the competition on it. Want to win, but will be having a pint even if they dont.
C Team
Aliquis habet vincere
Social bowling at it's best. A good place for the new player to learn the craft, or for the truly social bowler to enjoy the sport.
D Team

Captains Quote; "We are a friendly, sociable group of individuals both male and female. with various levels of ability and experience from novice bowlers to players capable of finishing in the league's top ten.
The experienced players in the team are very happy to pass on their knowledge to the least experienced members. One of our players has over 65 years of bowling experience, and is one of the oldest players in the league, whilst another of our experienced players is one of the youngest in the league.
The main aim of the team is to have a laugh and enjoy a competitive bowls match"
